Ratepayers in Santa Cruz, Monterey and San Benito counties will see a small savings on their December electricity bills.
The rebate will be between $5 and $10 on average electric bills. It is the first rebate to be given to residential customers by Monterey Bay Community Power, a locally controlled utility that rolled out service to more than 200,000 local customers in July.
