The much-anticipated Olive Garden restaurant in Capitola opened to large crowds on Monday. Located behind Capitola Mall, company officials say the $1.5 million restaurant replaces the Marie Callenders that closed several years ago and was torn down to make way for the Italian eatery. Olive Garden hired more than 150 workers for the opening.
