The Santa Cruz County child rape case involving Dr. James Kohut, Emily Stevens and Rashel Brandon has experienced another delay. The three defendants are charged with dozens of felonies involving the rape of four children. Yesterday (Mon) Stevens requested a new attorney. The arraignments will resume after a new attorney is hired and familiarized with the proceedings.
