A woman who is accused of intentionally driving into, and killing, a pedestrian in Santa Cruz last July 20th, now also faces charges of attempted murder for an incident that took place 3 days before that. In the earlier incident, 24 year-old Kelsey Knoll blamed mechanical failure when her car hit a man….but the car was checked-out, and no mechanical failure was found. Knoll, who is due back in a Santa Cruz County Court Room this Thursday, is accused of using a “deadly weapon” in both “attacks”.
She is also the same woman who is accused of driving through the doors of the Felton CVS that month…although no one was injured in that incident.
