In Capitola, these same early results found Yvette Brooks, former council member Sam Storey, and incumbent Jacques Bertrand in the lead for the three available seats on that city’s council.
Scotts Valley had two seats up for the election. Leaders are newcomer Derek Timm and incumbent Jim Reed.
In Watsonville, four council seats are open. Incumbent Lowell Hurst was uncontested. Leaders for the three remaining seats are Francisco Estrada, Rebecca Garcia, and Ari Parker.
