Kidnapped Soledad Man Sought 10-23-18 17:55 DC

The search continues for a man who was kidnapped Monday morning during a home invasion in Soledad. Police say incident occurred in the 1700 block of Marin Place.

Investigators say two or more suspects broke into a home, struggled with 26-year-old Jorge Jasso and forcibly took him from the home. 

Witnesses said they were awakened by the sound of the front door of the home being forced open and the struggle with Jasso. Witnesses told police they heard at least two people yelling at Jasso and telling him to be quiet. 

Jasso is 5’8, 180 lbs, brown eyes and brown hair, and was last seen wearing only dark shorts and no other clothing. 

Soledad police said there is no known motive at this time. 

The Monterey County District Attorney’s Office and the Federal Bureau of Investigation are assisting in the investigation.
