Several people were displaced by 2 fires yesterday in south Monterey county. A family was displaced by a 3-acre blaze in the Carmel Valley, while 3 others were displaced after a fire destroyed a garage, a mobile home and an outbuilding in the Lockwood area. The causes of both fires are still being investigated.
