Three people – including two juveniles – have been arrested for the murder of 41-year-old Bernardo Rodas of Santa Cruz, whose body was discovered Saturday off the roadway of North Rodeo Gulch. He has been missing for three days.
On Tuesday, sheriff’s detectives arrested one adult and two minors for the murder. They are 22-year-old Milton Arias Molina of San Jose, a 17-year old from Capitola, and a 15-year-old from Santa Cruz.
An autopsy and additional investigation are continuing. The sheriff’s office says it is not yet ready to release a cause of death, motive, suspect gang affiliations, or whether there are additional suspects.
