Salinas police arrested a man for multiple charges after he fired a pistol early Monday. Shortly before 5 a-m, police responded to a shot spotter alert on the 200 block of Sun Way. Up on arrival officers found 25 year old Jose Gonzales hiding near by. A search of the area located a Glock pistol and methamphetamine. Gonzales was booked into Monterey County Jail.
