Calif AG Support Students Affected by College Fraud 10-12-18 06:55 DC

California’s attorney general joined eight other states yesterday in announcing support for students impacted by the Corinthian College fraud case.

More than 50,000 students ended up in debt from school loans, including those from Heald College in Salinas.

A court order stops the Department of Education from giving only partial debt relief to students.

Attorney General Xavier Beccera and the others have filed an amicus brief in support of that order and supporting the students. The order is being appealed by the Department of Education.
