Local internet provider Cruzio has completed the first phase of its gigabit fiber optic cable project, which has brought gigabit internet speeds to downtown Santa Cruz. Cruzio development director James Hackett says just being fast isn’t enough for Santa Cruz. The service also has to be affordable.
Hackett says Cruzio is offering gigabit internet for $50-a-month plus a $10 monthly fee for a required Wi-Fi router. Availability information is at santacruzfiber.com.
