A former Hollister police officer is scheduled to be back in a Santa Clara county court room on Friday. Chad browning faces 4 charges in connection with a September 9th crime spree. It reportedly began with a vehicle theft in Fresno, and ended with Gilroy Police officers shooting at him as he drove onto the football field of Gilroy High School. Browning faces charges of assault with a deadly weapon on a police officer, vehicle theft, possession of methamphetamine, and petty theft.
