For the first time, Ocean Stewardship (and the health of the ocean), is being discussed at the Global Climate Action Summit that is taking place in San Francisco this week. Julie Packard, the executive director of the Monterey Bay Aquarium, is there to let people from around the world (who have gathered at the summit) know about the central role the ocean plays in the earth’s climate system. The attendees of the summit, are calling for all sectors of society to work toward meeting the targets set at the 2015 Paris Agreement.
