Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s deputies are responsible for saving a school campus from water damage. On Saturday night a deputy performing a spot check oh Amesti school noticed flooding in a construction area the rising waters were preparing to flood school rooms. The deputy was able to contact the water district which turned off the water before any damages occurred.
