Starting January 1st of 2019, the owners of vessels anchored in the Santa Cruz Harbor will need to have insurance on their vessels. That’s because the Port Commission’s Policy Operation Committee has refined their policy standards. Vessel owners will need to have insurance coverage for wreck removal, and pollution coverage, as well as liability insurance with a minimum policy of $300,000.
