A psychiatric health evaluation is being recommended for a 27-year-old woman accused of using a stolen sheriff’s vehicle to ram a Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s deputy. Jessic Lowe appeared in court on Tuesday and her attorney made the request in front of a judge. Lowe faces a number of charges, including attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon on an officer and assault with a deadly weapon. She is being held without bail in Santa Cruz County Jail.
