Some local commercial salmon fisherman are concerned that they won’t be able to make a living this year, with the Salmon Season cut down to just 19 days. The first half of the season was in early may, while the second half will be the last 2 weeks of this month. The recreational salmon fishing season is longer, running from April 7th through July 2nd…..but both seasons are shorter than usual.
