The Presidio of Monterey saw a change of command Tuesday. Col. Gregory J. Ford is taking over command of the active military installation and replaces outgoing commander Col. Lawrence T. Brown. The ceremony to welcome Ford was held Tuesday. The Presidio houses the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center.
