As the City of Santa Cruz searches for a new director of Parks and Recreation, officials are asking the public for input. Residents are asked to share their thoughts on the recruiting process at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Police Community Room at 155 Center Street. The director oversees the maintenance of city parks, the municipal wharf and all the recreational programs.
