Illegal house parties at vacant Monterey County homes are on the rise. The Monterey County Sheriff’s Office received more calls about the parties in empty homes in recent weeks. The homes are vacant because they’re usually on sale. Partygoers are causing thousands of dollars in property damage and clean up.
