The Santa Cruz County District Attorney’s Office is suing two companies after alleging they found dangerous levels of lead in baby formulas in toddler formula produced by them. The office announced Thursday it would join the state and nine other California district attorneys in the lawsuit against Nutraceutical Corp. and Graceleigh Inc. The lawsuit Nutraceutical’s Peaceful Planet Toddler Supreme Formula and and Graceleigh’s Sammy’s Free Range Goat Milk Toddler Formula had lead levels above federal guidelines.
