A 29 year-old Scotts Valley man is facing possible felony domestic violence charges, in connection with beating a woman and holding her against her will in his home. When Scotts Valley police officers responding to a domestic violence call near the 100 block of Mount Hermon Road early Saturday, they found a woman running away from the house, and Schell inside with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Schell is still in critical condition in a San Jose trauma center.
