The 16th annual “Ride Of Silence” was held around the world yesterday, to remember people who have been killed while bicycling. Close to 200 bicyclists were hurt in Santa Cruz county alone in 2016, and 3 more were killed. Although the annual event is called the “Ride Of Silence”, participants hope that drivers (and bicyclists) can make some small changes, that will lead to everyone being safer on the road.
