SCSO Gets 2-Year Grant 05/16/18B 21:30 S.S.

The  Santa  Cruz  County  Sheriff’s  Office  has  received  a  2-year  grant  to  help  deputies  reduce  “Underage  Tobacco  Usage”.   The  more  than  350-thousand  dollars  will  be  used  to  educate  the  under  21  year-old  population,  and  enforce  “minimum  legal  age” laws  for  the purchase  of  tobacco  products.  

The  money  comes  from  revenue  generated  by  2016’s  Proposition  56.
