The Santa Cruz Police Department is asking the public to help identify a dog napping suspect that was caught on camera. Apple, a nine year old chihuahua was taken from the downtown Santa Cruz area on the thirteenth around 2 p-m. Apple has since been returned to their owner, yet the suspect has not been caught. The woman they are looking for appears to have long reddish-brown hair, with tattoos on her neck and chest area. Anyone with information on the woman’s identity is encouraged to contact the Santa Cruz Police Department.
