2 men suffered injuries early this morning, in what appeared to be an attempted street race on Highway 1. 19 year-old Ray Magana suffered major injuries when his southbound vehicle collided with the vehicle driven by 23 year-old Abel Torres Junior. Torres Junior suffered moderate injuries. Both men were transported to area hospitals. both lanes of southbound Highway 1 were closed for about 20 minutes after the 12:35 a.m. crash.
