Although Monterey county officials say they want the Red Barn Flea Market to be open, due to the venue not meeting their minimum safety standards, once again the Red Barn Flea Market will be closing. This time that will happen this Sunday (April 15th?). A hearing on the application (for a neutral party to operate the flea market, and bring it up to code) is scheduled for April 27th in Monterey County Superior Court.
