Salinas police have arrested a second suspect in an armed carjacking. Shortly after the February 19th carjacking, officers apprehend the 15 year old driver and recovered two loaded pistols. Two other suspects evaded capture. Following an investigation an arrest warrant was issued for known gang member, 19 year old Jesus Avalos was booked into Monterey County Jail. A third suspect remains at large.
