Non-profit Switches to Solar Power 02-22-18 T.A.

(08:00) Monterey County – The Boys and Girls Clubhouse in Salinas and Seaside are switching to solar power in an effort to save money.  The non-profit organization was reportedly paying $80,000 annually just in electricity bills.  Once both clubs are operating on solar, they will save an estimated 97% on energy costs.  The club in Seaside still needs to raise $50,000 before construction can begin.  To donate visit: bgcmc.org.
