(08:40) Gilroy – The Gilroy Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who attempted to steal from a department store yesterday. The incident took place on around 6:30 p.m. at Kohl’s department store. Employees reported that the man attempted to leave the store with a cart load of merchandise without paying. An employee was able to retrieve the property, but the man got away. A picture of the man can be seen on the police department’s Facebook page. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact authorities.
