(16:30) Santa Cruz – The community is invited to celebrate the new public mural titled, “Unify, Decolonize, Thrive” in a ribbon cutting ceremony and reception. The youth inspired art designed by local muralists Emmanuel Garcia and Oliver Whitcroft represents the past, present, and future of marginalized people. The event will include guest speakers, a time lapse video of the mural, and more. This event is free and open to the public and will be held at the Louden Nelson Center in Santa Cruz on Saturday March 3rd.
