(08:10) Santa Cruz County – Santa Cruz County Law Enforcement announced that The 2018 Polar Plunge is coming up and is now open for registration. The Polar Plunge is a unique opportunity for individuals, organizations, and businesses to support local Special Olympics athletes by running into and out of chilly waters of the Santa Cruz Beach. The money raised will provide sports training and competition opportunities to the over 21-thousand Special Olympics athletes. The event will be on March 10th.
