A convicted murder pleaded guilty to killing a Seaside woman in 1982. Alfred Powell entered the plea on Friday. Sandra Steppuhn disappeared after she was seen picking up a hitchhiker, later identified as Powell. Steppuhn was classified as a missing peron until her remains were discovered buried in a yard were Powell once lived. Powell is currently in prison for murdering a Pebble Beach hairdresser. He will be due back in court on January 26th for sentencing.
