Cal Fire is testing a new debris disposal method this month that is expected to be safer and more efficient. Cal Fire crews began using an air curtain incinerator burn debris, including downed trees up to three feet wide. The equipment is being evaluated as part of a fuels reduction project. The project aims to reduce fire danger and promote forest health.
