Based on the results of a recent Pilot Program, California’s drivers could soon be charged for the miles they drive. Authorities say that the gas tax is un-sustainable because of the number of alternative-fuel vehicles that are expected to be on the road in the coming years….and so they’ve been looking at how to garner the funds they need to keep the 50 thousand miles of state maintained roadway in reasonable repair.
