(07:25) Soledad – A man was arrested yesterday for an attempted homicide in Soledad. The incident took place at 11:30 a.m. on Vosti Avenue. The victim was sitting in his car when 37 year-old Arturo Calderon fired several rounds into the vehicle. A brief stand-off took place when Caledron barricaded himself inside an occupied home on Vosti Avenue. Calderon was booked into the Monterey County Jail for attempted murder, parole violation, and discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle. The victim was uninjured.
