A blaze, that broke out in the Big Sur area early this morning, was contained to 1.6 acres. 61 firefighters responded to the vegetation fire, that occurred on North Coast Ridge Road, about a mile from Highway 1…..just a little ways behind the Ventana Inn. Firefighters were still mopping up this morning, after containing the blaze shortly after 3:30 a.m.
