(09:20) Salinas – A man died after he was hit by a vehicle last night in Salinas. The incident took place around 5:30 p.m. on the eastbound lanes of East Laurel Drive, east of the intersection at Terra Drive. A 27 year-old male was pushing a shopping cart across the lanes when he was hit by a female driver. The victim was transported to Natividad Medical center where he was pronounced dead.
