A Central Coast organization is warning fisherman of elevated mercury levels in the Elkhorn Slough (sl-ew). The group Our Children’s Earth issued the warning concerning elevated levels of methyl mercury being found in fish, particularly in rays and leopard sharks. The Cal EPA issued a similar warning in 2016.
