A San Jose man was arrested on several charges including impersonating an officer in Salinas. On November 2nd, 22 year old Fernando Campos is alleged to have used police lights, a badge, and a pistol to pose as a police officer following a minor traffic accident in Salinas. Campos reportedly used the lights to pullover a driver that had bumped his vehicle, Campos then brandished a weapon and the threatened to shoot the man. On Friday, Campos was taken into custody, several pistols, police vests and 3 badges were also seized. He was booked into Monterey County jail in lieu of 50 thousand dollars bail.
