(07:45) Aptos – A sick sea lion was rescued yesterday afternoon in Aptos. A crew from the Marine Mammal Center captured the sea lion at Pottbelly Beach, between New Brighton State Beach and Seacliff State Beach. Rescue crews reported that the sea lion was underweight and sick. The 5-6 foot sea lion is expected to be transferred to the Marine Mammal Center in Sausalito today.
