(06:55) Santa Cruz – A man was seriously injured, after he was hit by a truck while he was riding his bike yesterday morning in Santa Cruz. The 88 year-old Santa Cruz resident was traveling south on 17th Avenue, near Capitola Road, when he collided with a truck around 8:15 a.m. CHP reported the man sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to a trauma center.
