Fire fighters were called on to battle a blaze in the Soquel hiils Friday morning. At about 8:30 a.m. crews responded to a fire at a structure on the Land of Medicine Buddha property on Prescott Lane. Special equpiment was used to navigate the steep terrain. A fire was quickly contained but a single room cabin was completely destroyed. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
