(06:10) Santa Cruz – Cal fire reported this morning that the Bear Fire, which is burning between Boulder Creek and Los Gatos, is 320 acres and 40 percent contained. Evacuation orders remain in effect for Bear Creek Canyon Road, Deer Creek Road, Rons Road, and Dons Road. Bear Creek Road between Hawk Ridge Road and Highway 35 is open to residents only. 2 Evacuation Centers are set up at Lakeside Elementary located at, 19621 Black Road, in Los Gatos and Zayante Fire Station located at, 7700 E Zayante Road, in Felton. Bear Fire Evacuation Centers will be open from 10 am to 4 pm as drop-in information centers and will remain open every day until evacuations are lifted.
