(09:40) Salinas – An inmate serving 25 years-to-life in prison has been found guilty of a 2014 murder. 25-year-old Horacio Gonzalez is currently serving his sentence at Salinas Valley State Prison for a prior murder/srike conviction. Authorities reported that in October of 2014, 23-year-old Luis Baladez, was found stabbed to death while sharing a cell with Gonzalez. Gonzalez reportedly used an inmate manufactured weapon to stab Baladez 19 times in the neck and chest areas. Gonzalez was sentenced to 50 years-to-life in prison.
