Work has begun on a new entrance to Castle Rock State Park. The 5200-acre park is located in the Santa Cruz mountains. Construction of the new entrance for the nearly 50 year-old state park (including a new parking lot for 90 cars, a modern restroom, and a picnic area), is expected to be completed next May.
