(07:35) Santa Cruz County – The city of Santa Cruz has begun construction of the 2017 Overlay Project. The project includes rehabilitation of local streets that have experienced significant deterioration at seven locations. Construction work has begun on King Street north of Bay Street to Mission Street. The 2017 Overlay Project is expected to be completed by December 22nd. A map with project locations is available at cityofsantacruz.com where the construction schedule will be updated weekly.
