(08:40) Monterey County – The Monterey Jazz Festival will be celebrating its 60th anniversary beginning today at the Monterey County Fairgrounds. The festival that has hosted many jazz legends over the years holds the title for the second ever produced Jazz music festival, and still functions by its original goal as a not-for-profit, funding education and outreach. The festival begins tonight at 6:00 p.m. at the Monterey County Fairgrounds, 2004 Fairground Road. For tickets and a schedule of performances go to Montereyjazzfestival.org.
