(07:45) Santa Cruz – The murder suspect accused of raping and killing a Santa Cruz girl was back in court yesterday. 15 year-old Adrian Gonzales was arrested on suspicion of killing 8-year-old Maddy Middleton in 2015 at their Santa Cruz Tannery Arts Center apartment complex. The judge is deciding whether Gonzalez will be tried as an adult or a juvenile. The hearing will resume today in a Santa Cruz County Superior Court Room.
