A longtime iconic coffee shop is closing in downtown Santa Cruz. The Cafe Pergolesi has been operating at its Center Street location since the 1970’s and recently announced it will be going out of business. The owners cite dropping revenues possibly due to downtown issues such as parking and homelessness as probable causes. The café will close August 26th.
